Dangerous Smart Meters: will there be an opt out?

IMPORTANT VIDEO OF A MEETING WITH SANTA CRUZ COMMISSIONERS AND A ‘PUBLIC RELATIONS’ REP FOR PG & E

It appears that Pacific Gas and Electric has no interest in permitting anyone to ‘opt out’ of their Smart Grid.

Note how PG & E sent a public relations ‘flunky’ to speak with representatives of local government and how this ‘flunky’ didn’t even know the name of the persons in charge of company policies. This is a common method of TheCorporation to avoid accountability.  They are happy to put lower level employees on the hot seat, while the executives who make the decisions remain nameless and many times unreachable.

This video demonstrates – to perfection – the problem with the new model of governance: the Private Public Partnership! Elected government representatives attempt to work with private corporations but the private corporations avoid accountability by sending in their public relations flunkies who know next to nothing and are only authorized to ‘parrot’ the corporation’s position.
